Corn Chowder

This is another one that I made a lot before getting married that has fallen out of rotation. In this case because Josh isn’t a bi fan of soups and chowders, so I don’t make them often. However, I really like this one, and it’s fairly inexpensive, so I keep it on my list. 🙂

Corn Chowder

Makes: 6 or more servings

  • 1 package cocktail smokies cut in half
  • Potatoes, as many as you’d like, cubed
  • 2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 1 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 2 Bullion Cubes
  • 1/2 cup Chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 (15 oz) can of Corn
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and cook until potatoes are tender. It has been so long since I made this I don’t remember how long it took, but I’ll try to remember to update once I find out. 😛
